The App is not intended to be a general public location-sharing application. Access to MRCONNECT is provided through authorized company accounts.

4. Location Information

Location information is an important feature of MRCONNECT Reporting App for companies that use the application for field-force management and work-related travel tracking.

MRCONNECT may collect precise and approximate location information using the location services available on your device.

Location tracking is not automatically active throughout the entire day. The employee must actively start the work session by tapping the Start Work button.

5. How Start Work and Stop Work Tracking Works

Start Work

The employee starts their official work session by tapping the Start Work button.

Starting the work session activates the live location tracking required for the employee's authorized work activities.

During the Work Session

While the work session is active, MRCONNECT may continue collecting location information even when the application is minimized or closed from the visible screen.

This functionality is necessary because field employees may travel between multiple work locations during the day and the company needs accurate information about the employee's current work-related location and travel kilometres.

Stop Work

When the employee completes their official work for the day, they tap the Stop Work button.

Once the work session is stopped, MRCONNECT stops the live location tracking associated with that work session.

6. Background Location Access

MRCONNECT Reporting App requires background location access because live employee tracking must continue during an active work session even when the employee is not actively viewing the application.

After an employee taps Start Work, MRCONNECT may continue collecting location information while the employee performs official work, including when the application is minimized or closed from the visible screen.

Background location access is used specifically to support:

• Live employee location tracking
• Work-related field activity tracking
• Current location viewing by authorized company personnel
• Travel distance and kilometre calculation
• Transparent field-force management

7. Purpose of Location Collection

Location information collected during an active work session is used for legitimate work-related purposes configured by the employee's company.

These purposes may include:

• Live tracking of authorized field employees.
• Allowing authorized company personnel to view the employee's current location.
• Recording work-related employee movement.
• Calculating travel distance and kilometres for official work.

8. Who Can View Employee Location

The employee's location is available only to authorized personnel of the company that has provided the employee access to MRCONNECT.

An authorized company administrator or other authorized company personnel may view the employee's current location through the company's MRCONNECT management system while the employee's work tracking session is active.

Access to location information is controlled by company accounts, roles, and permissions.

9. Location Data Sharing

MRCONNECT Reporting App does not sell, rent, or provide employee location information to advertisers, marketing companies, data brokers, or unrelated organizations.

Employee location information is used to provide the MRCONNECT service to the employee's authorized company and may be viewed by authorized company personnel as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not use employee location information for advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.

MRCONNECT does not provide a feature through which an authorized company administrator can download the employee's location information.

10. Current Location Viewing

The live tracking functionality allows authorized company personnel to view the employee's current location during an active work session.

Authorized company personnel can view the current location through the MRCONNECT management system.

The MRCONNECT management interface does not provide an option for authorized company personnel to download the employee's location information as a location-data file.

To provide core reporting and workforce-management functionality, MRCONNECT may request certain permissions from the employee's device.

• Location: Required for live tracking, field activities, and kilometre calculation.
• Background Location: Required for live tracking to continue during an active work session when the App is minimized or closed from the visible screen.
• Camera: Used for capturing work-related photographs, scanning documents, and submitting visual information.
• Files and Media: Used for uploading and managing work-related documents, photographs, and other media.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, application version, and technical information required to operate and troubleshoot the App.

Users can manage available device permissions through their Android device settings.

Flixweb Technology provides the MRCONNECT technology and infrastructure but does not determine the employment policies of individual customer companies.

Each customer company is responsible for using MRCONNECT in accordance with applicable employment, privacy, and data-protection requirements.

15. Log Files and App Diagnostics

MRCONNECT may use technical logs, diagnostic information, and crash-reporting tools to maintain application reliability and investigate technical problems.

Depending on the technical services used by the application, diagnostic information may include device type, operating system version, application version, IP address, date and time information, crash information, and other technical information.
